What's up yall, I'm John Frick, (John Frick and frick1352 on other platforms) co-founder of Grail Card Promotions. I’ve been collecting sports cards since 1981, when I was three years old in Baltimore, Maryland. I enjoy collecting Ravens, Orioles, Sabres, and White Sox prospects...or anything cool that catches my eye! I've been a teacher for 23 years, and a vendor for a little over 2 years, and I am excited to be taking on this new endeavor. When I'm not consumed by cards, I have a wife of 19 years with four homeschooled children, three biological and one adopted. The eldest is headed to college, and the youngest is two, so it's likely you'll see my family members at shows! Life is full, and we stay busy! We are committed to being the vendor's choice, and we are looking forward to making your experience great!!
How are we doing everyone? My name is Mike Helms, (DARTHMOX13 on other platforms), and along with John Frick we are excited to enter into this crazy world of show promotion in conjunction with our friends at RISE Indoor Sports. (@riseindoorsports) Like most, I started collecting in the late 1980's and really did not get back into the hobby until about two years ago - one show and was right back in! As John mentioned in his bio I am sure you will see a lot of family influence assisting in the forefront, and my wife of 23+ years along with my two children (Will and Rae) will show up time to time to keep us all in check. Beyond family, I have a passion for all things APPSTATE, Star Wars, and am a life-long suffering Miami Dolphins fan who always believes in "next year." I enjoy helping people along the way through this hobby, as many people have helped me learn on the fly in the two short years I've been back in the grind. That being said, John and I have committed to be the vendors choice for shows and experience. We look forward to offering unique show experiences in 2026...this is going to be fun!
